As a professional photographer who spends an inordinate amount of time in front of a computer processing my images, this app makes my life really easy. This is by far, the best reviewed coloring application for a Mac, and it deserves it’s reputation.

Need an easy way to erase brush strokes that doesn’t involve using undo. When zoomed in on highly intricate items in black and white to color, it can be very difficult to discern edges, and so in this manner ‘undo isn’t really useful, as its easier to continue repeating the same mistake over and over. That is my only desire - other than that a great app.

Was looking for a fun way to edit some pictures and came across this app! Absolutely love it and it is fun although it takes time to edit detailed pics when you are wanting to change colors, etc. My only suggestion would be if there were a way to blend more when you have a pic that goes from EXAMPLE: grass to mulch…. in making the grass greener and the mulch tan/brown as it should be…. I would like to be able to blend it so that it looks natural instead of it being a straight line with regards to the way the landscape was done. Its that PERFECT in this location where the photo shoot was done. Other than this…. no complaints at all!

Nice app…much eaiser than photoshop.. but needs a dodge and burn tool… I recommend this app

I have a mac pro and this app is taking FOREVER to download.! its been at 15.3 MB for the past couple hours now.

I have been using ColorStrokes for over six-months. The app is easy to use. I use this on photos to see what it would look like beside just being in color. Great App!

I have been using this app for quite some time, and it has never let me down. It is always fun to use, and to see how creative you can get with your photos. It’s always interesting! It’s quick and easy to use, I don’t use it all the time, but when I do, I really like the results.

I”m not surprised that this app has such rave reviews. We thrill whenever a developer creates an application that has a sensible, delightfully functional, beautiful INTERFACE. It has all the applicable tools also, sitting right in front of you. I also like that it exists accross platforms - Mac, iPad, and iPhone… Marvelous and great!

First i take a photo, then I convert it to black and white. Then I upload it to this app and hand color just certain things in the pic. The rest I leave black and white. It looks like the old hand-painted photos from the 30’s when professional photographers weren’t using color film. Its a great app. PS - Definitely get the pro version. It’s so inexpensive. and you can sit back and play around changing the wall color in your bedroom for hours!

The one thing missing… a Photos plugin. Then this would be so addictive as you would no longer need to export - edit - import.

Program lags and does not listen to commands. Is it because I’m on the newest OS El capitan? Not sure, either way be careful. Was a waste of 5 bucks!

I enjoy using this coloring app. I used others before, but this one is easier to use than those. I have scanned all my mother’s old shoeboxes full of photos and this really makes a striking difference. I had some trouble finding a realistic skin tone for some of the photos and when found it it worked fine, but I would like to have been able to save if as a favorite for future use. I don’t think the program has a facility for this. I would also like to be able to zoom in just a bit closer in some cases. I have recommended this program to friends.

I love the app except it will not save my pictures. It sends a black picture when I save it to my desktop. It won’t send to FB either. I sent a message to tech and gor a response that they were working on it. I hope it works! Looks like a really cool App…

Very short and sweet, I like it! ColorStrokes never lets me down! Fun and enjoyable app, give it a try, what else do you have to do?

Love what I can do with this app but the biggest draw back is not being able to re-open and continue on a project. Once the project is saved you can not continue at a later time. I wil be lookng for a different program.

I use this now and then to gray out things in an image, or to spot color… it’s a great little app. AWESOME!

I purchased this so that I could pull one color out of a picture. I want to take a picture and just have one color be shown, Purple, Red, Blue, etc and the rest of the picture be black and white - does not really seem that is what you can do. Am I missing something here. FX Studios have things called Red and Blue Stroke that does the exact same thing, but I was looking to do that with a few more colors. Any suggestions on how to do that??

My first time using this app to edit my daughter dashiki pics. It really makes the colors pop. It is easy and way better than the other apps I have used.

Very simple and does exactly what it says. Very happy with this app. *update for new rev. 12/16/15 - still works great!
