Straight-forward easy to use with minimal effort you can make some cool effects—I recommend it.

I have always wanted to be able to color my photos like this. When I asked someone they would never share their secret. Now I have one. Love the program! Its easy and it can make your photos profound and professional. What I would like to see improved is the ability to make smaller strokes. The smallest size to color does not do the best job when coloring fine lines or very small spaces. Other than that, it’s great!

I really enjoy using this app. It makes coloring photos, whether it is adding color or pulling out the color that is already there, very easy. Its not the type of app that I am going to be using on a daily basis, but when I do want to use it, I dont have to remember a whole bunch of arcane commands. Most of it is just click. This brings me to my only real complaint, which has more to do with Macphun than ColorStrokes. Macphun has a number of great higher end apps (my photo workspace is becoming a Macphun environment). It would be great if all the apps that have common maneuvers like fit to screen, 100% size image, before and after, all used the same keyboard shortcuts. ColorStrokes seems to be the worse offender of this inconsistency. This is the only reason I am giving 4.5 stars instead of 5. It a wonderful stand-alone app/utility, however and easily worth the price.

I’ve often wondered how this effect was done. I still don’t know, but the application works like a charm.

I went looking for something like I’d been using Color Splash on my phone and BAM here it is but better and High Resolution! Great Easy to use and some awesome additional effects to make it even better. And for about the same price as a phone app! Yay!

I am having loads of fun with this app. I am recoloring photos in an artsy kind of way, learning more each time I use it. The response from people who have seen my work is very positive. Makes it look like it was a lot more intricate than it is. And I can get really detailed by enlarging the picture significantly and making the brush really small. I am going to get this app on my iPad as well. You can’t share it, but for the price I don’t mind.

Works great for popping out the colors of our food and interior decor of our new restaurant. Highly recommended!

Easy to use, creates unique pix in, literally, <3 minutes. Especially welcome for Mac users who are denied Irfanview and Paint.net.

This program is terrific! You can change a photo from an average looking shot to one that everyone will love! It’s also great for modifying product photos for my business Facebook postings. Great job guys!

This is a lot of fun. Enlarge to do fine tuning, blur the background when finished to make the color really stand out. Worth the money. Want list: 1. a way to get rid of the promotional text in the email or edit to add my own default message 2. more effects. The three are similar. Apply effects to just the image or just the background 3. more vignette options BUT… bottom line - it’s well worth the price

LOVE IT! Very easy to use. It’s too bad i didn’t buy this earlier, i could’ve re-edited hundred of my pictures. As it is now, I’m spending hours going through my archives appying ColorStrokes.

This is an easy to use program that is great. I have “retouched” several photos and results are fun. Good for a group photo when you want to make one person stand out. Very fun - I recommend it.

When I need a quick tocuh up to a graphic, I use this app. It can do just what it says it can, and it does it well!
